Happy 2 years Kayla

The Dog Whisperer

We have started calling Kayla The Dog Whisperer.  She's always had some sort of special connection with Angel, probably because of all the food she drops down to her.  But at times when we used to have to pick Angel up in order to put her in her crate, if we ask Kayla to do it, the dog just obeys her.  We can be at the other end of the house, but if we ask Kayla to put Angel up, she'll toddle back to our bedroom, open the door to the crate, say "puppah", and usually wave her hand.  Angel usually thinks about it for a second, and then obediently goes into the crate.  We really want to get it on video but I'm sure one of the two won't cooperate if we try.

Morning Ritual

Lately, Katelyn has been sort of obsessed with watching me drive off in the mornings and having me wave to her as I go by.  She starts asking me to make sure I wave to her as soon as I get out of the shower, and reminds me at least 10 times before I leave to make sure I do it.  She's really excited about it, and knows just where to open her shutters and lay on her bed so that she can see the street as I pass by.

The girls had a great time with Gammy and Pop while we were on our cruise last week.

10 Year Anniversary

This year we celebrated 10 years of marriage. I can't believe it has been 10 years. So much has happened. We have two beautiful little girls and we are about to move into a new house. Our marriage is even stronger and to celebrate our anniversary we are going on a cruise. We praise God as we reach this wonderful milestone and give thanks to him everyday. Christ is the center of our marriage and we pray that we will be godly examples so one day our girls will come to know Jesus as their personal savior.

Moved in and have no idea where anything is. It is like a victory everytime I find something I have been looking for. : )
